CATS OF BANGKOK
Part 2: Bangkok, Thonburi & Bang Krua
Bangkok is still one of the best places on earth to meet cats, and not the variety you find in Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza. A society that looks after its animals (and not eat them) is to be treasured. Felines roam every corner of the city, many of whom are well cared for. The Muslim community of Bang Krua, where Jim Thompson found his silk-weavers near his home, is a good place to see families of cats and the people who love them. Here are the pics from our all too short holiday to the City of Angels (and Cats) from 29 March to 1 April 2025.
