Here is another piano recital not to miss. Russia-born German pianist LILYA ZILBERSTEIN makes her Singapore debut in a very interesting yet virtuosic programme, which combines the familiar with exciting rarities.
LILYA ZILBERSTEIN was the first prizewinner of the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 1987, and made her name with critically acclaimed recordings on Deutsche Grammophon, among them Rachmaninov's Second and Third Piano Concertos with the Berlin Philharmonic led by Claudio Abbado. She can also be heard with Martha Argerich in works for two pianos from the Progetto Martha Argerich at the Lugano Festival.
